New Transparent Logos & Branding Kits

The moment we have all been waiting for is finally here – customizable logos with transparent backgrounds!

It’s important for your logo to be saved as two copies: a black copy and a white copy, both as a .png file with a transparent background. This way, you can add your logo on top of different colors and images without having a black or white background behind it!

Instructions:

1. Open your logo templates in Corjl

For this template, we are using a website called Corjl because it offers the option to save an image with a transparent background for free. We typically use Canva, but downloading images with a transparent background is only available for Pro ($12.95/month) members.

2. Create a free Corjl account

Once you click the “Open in Corjl” button above, you will be prompted to create a Corjl account. You will be able to access the logos through this account, so make sure you remember your credentials.

3. Customize, Save, Download

Although Corjl is very similar to Canva, it does have some differences. Watch this video of Haley creating a logo using the template to help you with yours!

4. Access your Branding Kits in Canva

Now that you have your new logos with a transparent background, you can upload them into Canva and customize your branding kit.

The purpose of the Branding Kits is to have a canvas for you to play around with different fonts, colors, and moods to see what goes well for your brand. You won’t need to post this (unless you want to), you’ll just have this resource to look back on for yourself, or to save and send to anyone customizing your marketing materials.

Logos: Upload your logos you just made and drag them here.

Fonts & Colors: These will be your go-to fonts and colors to use across all of your marketing materials. Try to keep it eligible and neutral. You can customize your C&C Templates with these to keep a cohesive look across your feed, marketing materials, and website.

Mood: Some lovely photos that fit the aesthetic and style you want your brand to be – typically the kind of photos you’ll be posting on social media. Make sure all the colors look cohesive.
