Danielle Seifert: Leading Central Iowa's #1 Real Estate Team

Meet Danielle Seifert, the rockstar real estate agent taking over Central Iowa! Danielle has over 17 years of experience in real estate, and leads a team of 8 agents. Danielle is the go-to agent in her area and specializes in new construction projects. Danielle and her team have accumulated over 115 5-star reviews from happy clients across Zillow & Facebook.

What was your volume as a team this past year?

In 2019, our team closed 83 million and I closed 23 million personally. We are the #1 team in Central Iowa, and #1 in RE/MAX in the Iowa & Nebraska Region.

Recently, Danielle's listing was featured on My Lottery Dream Home.

Did you have a career before Real Estate?

Yes, I graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!) with an MIS (Management Information Systems) degree and worked in that field for about 2 years. What caused you to get into the business? I needed to interact with people and help people. Sitting in a cube, not moving and not talking is not in my DNA. I am a people person and communication is something that I have found is essential for me. I started out as a solo agent in 2004 and started the Danielle Seifert team in 2014.

What advice would you give someone starting a career in Real Estate?

Be genuine. If you want a long-lasting career, focus on relationships. It will take longer to build up your book of business, but you will gain a strong, fulfilling career that will withstand the market ups and downs better than any other model.

You seem very involved in your local community, what advice would you give an agent looking to be more involved in their community?

Find the causes that are close to your heart and focus on those. Don't just be active just to be seen - be active to be real. There is nothing better than being genuine and helping out your community!

In April, the Danielle Seifert team partnered with a local sign company, SignGypsies Des Moines, and moved a sign that says "smile, we're in this together" every single day to the yard of a family or business to brighten their day.

"The intention was to let others know we were thinking of them during this social distancing and thank our front line workers for all their hard work. I think we accomplished both! We even started a Facebook group SMILE! We are in this TOGETHER Ankeny! with over 300 members where the town followed along.⠀⠀We may be a pretty fast-growing city, but more times than not, Ankeny feels like a small town with a big heart that I am very proud to call home."

We love the photos of your team and of the community, is this something you plan ahead of time? Has it been beneficial to your marketing?

I would love to say that I have a big plan ahead of time that I execute strategically, but that is not the way that my brain works. It seems that opportunities to give back pop into my brain at a moment's notice. The latest one with the 30 days of April signs moving around the community was planned on March 28th I think! I am always looking for ways to give back and if I see something, I am usually going to find a way to make it happen. I am sure that it has been beneficial, although, I don't do it for those reasons. I give back because the community has provided for me in a way that allows me to do so.

Thanks so much for chatting with us, Danielle!
